On Thursday 25th May, Mr Hurst, the Executive Principal of HIKSVS, visited Sutton Valence School. It was a wonderful moment to see both schools reunited in person after three years. Much of the discussion was centered around school development and opportunities for our children.
Sutton Valence, steeped in over 450 years of history, is led by the SVS Headmaster, Mr. Thomas. As our International partner school, HIKSVS and SVS have an extremely close relationship and we share many of the same overarching principles such as our "Four Journeys". “The Four Journeys” helps develop and nurture the skills, abilities and attitudes of our children as they continue to grow and learn.
During Mr Hurst’s time at SVS he attended a school performance, explored different subject departments in the school and spoke with members of staff and children. He also had the pleasure of meeting two of our former students who used to attend HIKSVS, Anfal and Yilidaer.
We will continue to foster our cross-continental relationship and we are already planning for future collaborations, this will include; School Governors visiting HIKSVS, management exchanges, curriculum exchanges between the teaching teams interactive teaching activities between students and study tours. There is a bright future ahead for both schools and we look forward to celebrating further news and information in the near future.
