It is a pleasure to welcome you to HIKSVS International School. Since our inauguration in August 2017, our rapid expansion and successes have been vast. We are a leading English co-educational independent day school in association with Hopeland International Education Group, a highly successful Chinese-owned independent education provider. Our exceptional strong partnership with the historic and highly successful Sutton Valence School in Kent, one of England’s leading schools, ranked often in the top 2% of all Independent schools in the UK for adding the most academic value to students’ attainment, underpins almost all that we do. We are extremely proud to be a COBIS member school, thus giving us international accreditation and recognition.
HIKSVS International School is a forward-thinking school with a focus on preparing our students for a rapidly changing world. At the heart of our school is our commitment to the Four Journeys: Community, Academic, Enrichment and Leadership and Service, which closely replicates those in our sister school. These ensure all students receive a well-rounded international/bilingual education. Students will develop their skills, abilities and talents in HIKSVS and use it as a springboard for future study, whether locally in China or internationally.
We promote English as a medium of communication for both academic and professional life while at the same time promoting a strong international and intercultural understanding. We have high expectations for our community and our aim is to develop resilience, independence, critical thinking and kindness in all our students.
HIKSVS International School brings together the very best of western and eastern educational methods, drawing on traditions of both cultures – serving both international students and domestic Chinese students equally through a dual curriculum, with a number of integrated subjects and activities delivered by our first-class teaching departments.
