Peter Ferrier

Peter started his teaching career as Year 3 teacher at Barker College in Sydney. After 12 years in two of Australia’s most acclaimed and oldest private schools he had taught most Primary age classes, been a boarding house master and had already experienced his first Primary Headship.

In 1994 he took up his first International posting in Bangkok, followed by a Headship in Bogor Indonesia and Principal Positions in Berlin, Jakarta, Dubai and Phuket. After his initial teacher training Peter continued his studies in the field of education with a Graduate Diploma in Children’s Literature, a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree specialising in Educational Leadership, Peter has been a member of visiting accreditation teams with the Council of International Schools.

Peter will be accompanied by his wife Keay, as he takes up the position of Founding Head at HIKSVS International School; and after 16 years of continual tropical weather, they are looking forward to the seasonal variations of Tianjin!

Peter在学术上孜孜追求，先后获得了儿童文学和教育领导学的学士和硕士学位。 他一直担任国际学校理事会访问评审小组的成员。

Peter在热带的炎炎夏日环境中度过了16年教学生涯。现在，他将在妻子Keay陪伴 下，来到四季分明的天津，担任华兰萨顿国际学校的校长
